We rode on the winds of the rising storm, we ran to the sounds of thunder. We danced among the lightning bolts, and tore the world asunder.
Hi! I'm Chuck Rondeau, a 58 year old UPS delivery driver from Port Angeles, Washington, the city where the mountains meet the sea. I've been with my wife for almost 40 years, and I have a 23 year old son who is getting married this summer. While UPS pays the bills, my heart belongs to my art. I picked up a pencil and paper when I was 4 years old, and haven't stopped yet. I think I've improved since then with the help of art degrees from Peninsula College and Western Washington University. I mostly do commissioned work, and have donated paintings to the Rocky Mountain Elk foundation and Ducks Unlimited, done the sets for several community plays, designed logos for local businesses, and have done artwork for several advertisements. Every now and then I put the pen and paper together in a different way and write a little poetry. On the advice of one of my customers who is a wonderful photographer, I picked up a DSLR a couple years ago and my wife and I have an amazing time taking photographs.
I also enjoy fishing, hunting with a bow, agate and sea glass hunting, reading, cooking, carving and woodworking, and radio controlled airplanes.
